Event Report

The first weekend in October 2009 saw The Hub Productions head over to Perth for the first time, to kick off our Twilight tour and also give fans of Stargate Atlantis and Star Trek Enterprise a treat, when we took Connor Trinneer (Stargate Atlantis and Star Trek Enterprise), David Nykl (Stargate Atlantis) and Chaske Spencer (The Twilight Saga) to the GO3 expo.

David and Connor kicked off the weekend with their brilliant Q&A where they shared stories of their time on the Stargate set. Strangely, David and Connor had never actually had any scenes together but that didn't stop them from having a million stories to tell. David let us in on the fact that enjoyed teaching the world to curse in Czech - one episode at a time.

Due to filming changes for New Moon, Chaske was unable to arrive until Sunday afternoon But being the trooper and all around awesome guy that he is, he stepped off the plane from his 17 hour flight and came straight to the event to give his talk. He was a little jet lagged and it was his first visit out to Australia so he was having a little trouble understanding the questions but with a little translation from the MC he was able to let his fans know about working on New Moon and what the rest of the wolf pack were like.

David, Connor and Chaske we also available for signings and photograph sessions over the weekend as well as finding a little time to look around the event and even laugh as two of the Hub team donned inflatable robot suits to battle it out.

The guys also headed over to the Channel 7 Telethon event where they appeared on stage as well as heading to the phone room to take some calls and donations from lucky fans. The Sunday night saw them having dinner with some fans who got to ask them questions and get to know them in a more relaxed and intimate setting.
