Event Report

April 2010 saw The Hub Productions host their 4th Twilight event. This time around we had a vamp (Daniel Cudmore - Felix), some wolves (Booboo Stewart - Seth Clearwater and Gil Birmingham - Billy Black) and even a human (Christian Serratos - Angela Webber) drop into Australia to share their stories of working on the Twilight Saga and meet their fans.

The evening function in Sydney kicked of what was to be a wonderful weekend with a really relaxed vibe. The guests circulated the party, chatting to everyone and getting to know them. After breakfast with the Platinum ticket holders on Saturday morning the headed on down to the event and went straight into their photo session. Booboo was just full of energy and even lent the photographer a hand when he wasn't taking photos with the fans. Then they moved onto the Q&A sessions where they answered attendees' questions and regaled them with stories from the set.

Daniel was a big hit with the fans as he would look at the attendee directly when answering the question and continue to look at them even if he broke off into a story. This had more than one female attendee blushing as they locked eyes with the six and a half foot hunk.

After the autograph session everyone hopped on a plane to so we could do it all again in Melbourne.

Sunday kicked off once again, with the Platinum breakfast before heading over to the event. One of the highlights of the day was when an attendee asked Gil if he was Team Edward or Team Jacob and he threatened the attendee with a spanking for their impudence citing "We don't want sparkly things on the res!" Another highlight was Booboo being astounded by the different ways us Aussies pronounce things.

This lead to him being inundated with Aussie slang and pronunciations at the evening function that night where the guests once again mingled with the attendees before heading off to bed, exhausted but happy and with great memories of their time spent Down Under.
