About Us

The Hub Productions is a small company out of Sydney, Australia that strives to provide opportunities for fans to meet the actors, artists and behind the scenes stars that contribute to the tv shows, movies and comics that we all so love and adore.

We work in association with our affiliates to provide these opportunites in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, as well as across the ditch in Auckland and Wellington (New Zealand too).

We have been working since 2004, where we hosted our very first convention; The Hub Productions Lord of the Rings Convention in Melbourne, Australia. We were graced by John Rhys-Davies, John Noble and Noel Appleby who shared their very amusing stories, memories and perceptions of the life on set, practical jokes, and the public reactions of what it was like to film Lord of The Rings.

Since then we have been lucky enough to work with the talented actors, artists and behind-the-scenes people of some of pop culture's biggest franchises such as Supernatural, Twilight, Star Wars, BSG, Stargate, Star Trek, Joss Whedon's Buffy, Angel and Firefly/Serenity as well as many of Australia's talented comic book artists and more!

Every year we are expanding our horizons and looking at new franchises on which to base our events. We spend countless hours every week talking to other fans, watching the box and scouring the internet to see what is you that YOU guys care about and who YOU want to see so we can bring you the events that YOU want!
