Vampire Diaries now with Nina and Ian!

Hey Hubsters!

Well some lovely news was waiting for us when we got back into the office this week. The delightful Nina Dobrev and the delectable Ian Somerhalder will be joining us for our Vampire Diaries event in July! So that means we have Nina, Ian and Paul! Prices are now up on the website and tickets will go on sale tomorrow. We will also be preselling the professional photos with these three so if you want to guarantee yours that is the best way to do it! This is going to be a great event and your not going to want to miss it!

Good news for Melbourne Stargate fans!

Hi, Hubsters,


We've got a bit of news regarding the Melbourne venue - good news (though a teensy bit annoying for us). We just did a final count with the venue in Melbourne and it turns out they gave us some wrong numbers. Apparently, far from being sold out as we believed, we still have a little over 30 day ticket seats that have not been assigned. So we're making Melbourne day tickets available again through our store and the order form. So, if you've been thinking you missed out - you haven't!

Stargate Melbourne update

Unfortunately, it looks like we're sold out of day tickets in Melbourne. We still have a few VIPs and Platinums available there, but not much. If you don't want those, your other option is Sydney, if you can get there; we still have tickets of all kinds left there.

Twilight update

Hi, Hubsters,


In amongst all the brilliant news we have been giving over the past month, we have some sad news for the Twilight fans. Ashley Greene will be unable to join us in April for our event as she will be delayed with filming on The Apparition.


She is hoping to come out for us in the future and we will have a killer new Twilight guest to announce shortly to replace Ashley. Plus some other great news.

Stargate ticket update

Hi, Hubsters,


Just a quick update; we're running very short on Melbourne tickets. We're expecting to be sold out of Day tickets by tomorrow, with limited availability on VIP or Platinum tickets as well. If you still want a ticket and you're travelling from outside NSW or Victoria, we definitely recommend you get tickets for Sydney if you have the option. You're less likely to miss out, and you'll be in a better position for your seating as well. Also, if you do live in Victoria, but you miss out on a ticket we do still have plenty of availability in Sydney, so there's always that option.

Vampire Diaries!

Hey Hubsters,


Seems we just cant get enough vampire action around here at the Hub office. So to really round out the year's events we decided we better throw some Vampire Diaries in the mix.


Yep you heard right. The first weekend of July will will bring you our first ever Vampire Diaries event and to really kick it off with a bang we are super excited to announce our first guest is Mr Stefan Salavtore himself: Paul Wesley!


Now I know there are many hearts a-fluttering out there at the moment and we dont blame you! But you will have to be patient just a little while longer. Ticket prices will be announced soon and the tickets themselves will be going on sale on March 10th.

Shedule, Armageddon and Gate to the Sanctuary

Hey Hubsters!


Another news update with lots of things to tell you.


Okay, first up, the schedule for our Stargate 2010 event is now posted. We strongly recommend that attendees go and have a look at it, as it is quite a busy day. Platinum and VIP ticket holders will be emailed in the next week or so with details of the special functions.


Second news item: For those who haven't noticed yet we have announced our first two guests for Melbourne's Armageddon Expo. Jeffrey Combs and Nana Visitor! This is just the start of what is sure to be an exciting lineup at Australia's largest pop culture expo.


And last, but by certainly no means least, we have added another guest to our Gate to the Sanctuary event.


We think the fans will be quite pleased to know that Ryan Robbins will be joining us for this much anticipated event!

Stargate, Sanctuary and Twilight, Oh My!

Hey Hubsters!


Just a couple of quick updates this time.


Firstly, tickets for the Stargate 2010 event will be sent out over the next couple of days. Any orders coming in after Tuesday (22nd Feb) morning will have to be collected at the door. But hey, if you haven't bought your tickets yet, don't despair, we still have some of all levels of tickets available in each city. This really isn't an event you want to miss out on.


Secondly, those who check our website and Twitter often will already know but our two lastest guest announcements are:


Chuck Campbell, who plays "Chucknician" in Stargate: Atlantis and "Two-Faced Guy" in Sanctuary will be joining us for the "Gate to the Sanctuary" event we are holding in conjunction with Culture Shock Events in December. With Amanda Tapping already signed on, this is shaping up to be another great event! And remember, attendees of our Stargate 2010 event get first crack at those tickets!


And for all those Twilight fans out there who have been waiting patiently, we have some news for you, too. Forks High School's very own "Angela Webber", AKA Christian Serratos, has joined our lineup for Twilight in April!

Kick Arse News

Hey Hubsters,

Wow, only a month until our Stargate 2010 event! Hope you're all amped up, as we certainly are! In the meantime, we have not one, not two, not three, but FOUR exciting bits of news for you. Most of this is up on the site already, but for those of you who haven't been looking around....

As an extra little treat for any Babylon 5 fans who might be amongst our Stargate attendees, we are happy to announce that Julie Caitlin Brown will be at the event in both Sydney and Mellbourne. While she will not be doing a Q&A session she will be signing autos and taking photos as well as chatting to fans.

I don't think we could cram anymore nerdy goodness into one event!

Oh wait! We can!

Our second bit of news is also for our Stargate event. The exceptionally talented Jason Palmer will also be in attendance and will have some wonderful new Stargate based works that he has created especially for this event! Please head over to the guest page for the event for more information about these two brilliant additions to our lineup.

Our third bit of news (phew, im getting tired just typing all this!) is that our lineup for our Star Trek Adelaide event is now complete with Rene Auberjonois joining us for what is looking to be a great event.

And our last, although by no means least, bit of news is one that has us here at the Hub office jumping up and down and squeeing for joy.

Star Trek fans need to mark their calendars for April 2nd - 3rd 2011 because we will be bringing out Captain James T Kirk himself, William Shatner!
 We are currently waiting to confirm some more amazing guests to join him at the event, which will naturally affect our ticketing prices and structure so tickets will not be going on sale just yet, however they will be available for purchase no later than July 1st 2010. But this news was just too big for us to not let you all in on it!
 What we can announce though, is that for the first time ever, Bill will be doing an evening function which will be exclusive to Platinum ticket holders. You won't want to miss that!

True Blood Competition, DVDs & Absentee Packs

Hey, Hubsters,

Triple dose of news this update. First of all, you now have a chance to win a full set of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, each signed by Charlaine Harris!

That's right, we have a set of the Southern Vampire Mystery novels (1-9) signed by Charlaine to give away! All tickets purchased for the Hub True Blood convention until April 30th go in the draw to win this wonderful prize! Please follow the link for more information - Competition Details

Secondly, Hub DVDs are finally available through the new store. That's the Supernatural AHBL DVD, the Twilight Prom DVD, and...the all-new Twilight Tour DVD! We're still trying to streamline shipping, but in the meantime things only get interesting if you're trying to book DVDs and tickets for events at the same time, and we've made every effort to make your shipping options as clear as possible.

Finally, absentee packs for Stargate are also available, but only through the manual form on the main site, not through the store (again because of shipping issues). But if you can't make it and you want some autographs, you can now take care of that.
