I know you receive so many emails, so sorry to add to the list but I really wanted to just say a big thank you for organising such a great convention in Sydney :) It was my second con (first as a platinum ticket holder) and I absolutely loved it. My friend and I made sure we found Rissa at the end to say thanks personally (not that i expect you to remember that lol) But we were so impressed with everyone who worked at the hub (Dana and Nikki made me feel so comfortable, especially being a little nervous at the evening function!) everyone was so friendly and helpful. Also the guests - wow, they were fantastic :D?? We are both from Adelaide so it was a nice excuse to leave the kids behind and have a girls weekend away lol - and just so you know, we are completely hooked in now - can never go back to a day ticket again! you have spoiled us lol :)

All Hell Breaks Loose I

Hi,

I have been meaning to put pen to paper (well fingers to keyboard!) for a while, but life just gets a hold sometimes and time whizzes by.

Anyway, I wanted to say a HUGE THANKYOU to you and your team for the Supernatural OzCon. I had an absolute ball. It was an experience I’ll never forget. Meeting Jared, Jensen and Misha, the panel, chatting and hanging around with fellow fans I had got to know through the fandom in person was all a blast.

I understand how much work goes on behind the scenes leading to a Con to get it off the ground, and how much work the actual days of the Con take to keep them running. Your team were friendly and professional at all times, and handled the rushed parts and the intensity of some fans extremely well. The weekend felt like it went off without a hitch, although I can imagine hitches did occur that you guys managed and sorted out to ensure the weekend ran smoothly. Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to everyone on your staff.

If you guys manage to secure another Supernatural Con, whether next year of beyond, please put my name on your list for a Platinum ticket. If you are not taking names, please put me on your mail out list for early notification. I will definitely be there and would hate to miss out. I tell everyone that it was definitely worth the cost and that Hub do a great job.

Dear Carissa,

I just wanted to acknowledge what an amazing time was had this weekend past at AHBL. You and your colleagues deserve an enormous pat on the back for all your hard work. Also, all the interaction I had with the HUB people was great - they were smiling and happy and really friendly. I was on my own, so for me this was most welcome. At times when others may have lost their cool, you guys never faltered and remained pleasant, trying your utmost to make sure as many people as possible could walk away with a smile on their face. So, thank you very much and be sure that I will only ever have praise for you and the rest of the HUB people.

Stargate SG1

Hi all staff members,

I attended the Stargate event at Adelaide this weekend, what a blast! I just wanted to say a big thank you for organising this event for Adelaide. It was just a fantastic experience - I have never met anyone famous like that, the whole experience will last a lifetime. I was certainly suprised by the guests - I hadn't laughed and enjoyed myself like that for a long time; stress at work, changing jobs, and doing uni trapped me for a long time, and this event showed me how important it was to do other things in life every once in a while. Many Thanks again, I'll be keeping an close eye on the web site for future events.

Hi there,

I just wanted to say a HUGE Thank You to The Hub Productions for hosting the True Blood Sydney Convention this past weekend. I had an absolute ball. I got my photo (Merlottes Special) and have been showing it off to everyone :). There are now at least 5 of my friends that are all keen for next years convention, that did not attend this year, as I have been raving about it. So thank you, thank you, thank you.

Twilight 2008

Hi,

My name is Nora and yesterday I went to the Twilight convention in Melbourne . I just wanted to thank you so much. The convention was so amazing and I had one of the best days of my life. I made friends with people who I wouldn’t have been able to meet otherwise and it was so awesome talking to the stars of the movie in such a close way.

Please bring Taylor, Nikki and Edi back again as they were all so amazing! They were so nice and funny and awesome and just brilliant. Edi is so cool! I was a little hesitant when I fist heard that he was going to come because I hadn’t really heard of him before, but he was so awesome. Nikki was so nice and Taylor was amazing, he drew on my Team Edward t-shirt and it was so cool!

Thank you once again, as it was the best day ever.

I really want to go again, it was so cool. Please have another one for New Moon!

Hubwarts

Hey guys,

I would just like to say thank you so so so much for the most amazing day of my life. Hubwarts was seriously a dream come true for me! I've been obsessed with Harry Potter for a decade and finally being able to meet some of the cast was unbelievable. I'll definitely be at Hubwarts 2!

Dear Carissa, Rand and all of the Hub Team

Thank you once again for another fantastic convention. Ian and I had a great time and you guys really are the greatest.

Everything was so well organised. I think it was a great idea having convention attendees shown where to sit at each table at the cocktail party. I did notice in the past there would be a few attendees that would hop from group to group to get extra time with certain guests....this kept it very fair and gave everyone equal time with guests.

Each Hub convention we attend just seems to get better and better. There is no doubt, Hub really know their business. Thank you for looking after us and making the day as special as it was.
