Welcome to the new and improved Hub website

Hey Hubsters!

Welcome to the brand new Hub website! After months of preparation and work, we are ready to launch and here you are!

The old site had served us well over the years, but as the company has grown, hosting more and more events each year, so had the website and unfortunately we simply outgrew the old setup. So after much deliberation, we decided to start from scratch with a complete rebuild and revamp. This new, sleeker design will hopefully be a little more user friendly than what we had and shake the cobwebs off some of the great content that we have here on the site, by making it all a little easier to find! We'll miss the old site though and we'd like to say a big thanks to the original Hub webmistress - Liz, for all her hard work over the years.

So here is a quick rundown of what this new site has to offer! First up you will notice the navigation buttons are still there on the top of the site and each of them has their own colour to make them easy to spot. What we have added to this are drop down menus for easier navigation. Just hover over the button and a list of what you can find in that section will appear! You will also notice that when you go into a section (Events, iHub, FAQ, etc) the whole section is designed around the colour of the corresponding button so you always know where you are on the site! And to get back to the home page at any time, just click the big red Home button!

Let's go over the sections! First up is Events! Hover over the orange button and you can either select your event from the drop down menu or click it to be taken to the Events landing page where you will see mini banners for all of our upcoming events. You can also access some events from the mini banners on the front page right below the Hub banner. Event pages now have their own styling and themes, as well as a summary of all the relevant ticket, guest and venue information right there on the first page, so that you can see everything you need to know at a glance! And for further detail all you have to do is click the links provided! The next button you see is yellow and that will take you over to the Hub's iShop where you can purchase tickets for events as well as DVDs and other merchandise. Nothing has changed over on the iShop so you can still buy tickets and merchandise as you have in the past.

Next we have the green HUBBUB section where you will find all of our news posts. Just click "Read More" link at the bottom of each introduction to see the rest of the post. You can also see the latest few posts on the front page of the site.

Next up, we have our shiny, aqua FAQ section. Here we have not only answered some of the most commonly asked questions that we receive at Hubquarters, but we have also included a breakdown of what you can expect at a typical Hub event and our etiquette guidelines. Please head over to this section to see if your question has already been answered before contacting the Hub.

Then we come to the dark blue iHUB area. iHub stands for "Information Hub" and has lots of great things inside! There are pages such as: "About Us", "Affiliates","Terms and Conditions" and "Testimonials" as well as cool stuff like the "Hub Recommends", where we let you know what stuff the team at Hubquarters are watching, reading and listening to; "Shout Outs & Videos" with a ton of content from our YouTube; "Hub in the Media" where we have posted some of the articles The Hub has been featured in and the "Stalk Us" page where we let you know all the different ways you can keep up to date with the happenings here at The Hub". The iHub also contains the all important Terms & Conditions which are a must read before purchasing tickets. This section is really worth a look around and will hopefully give you a little more insight into The Hub Productions!

Then we come to the purple PAST EVENTS section. This is where you can see all of the events we have held in the past and read some reports as well as see pictures of what you might have missed, or just want to go back and relive. This is also a great place for people to head to if they haven't been to an event before and want to get an idea of what to expect!

Last but not least, we come to the pink CONTACT section. Here you will find our office operating hours, phone number and contact form for emailing Hub. We do ask that you please have a look around the site first though, to make sure your question hasn't already been answered, before contacting the office.

So what are you waiting for Hubsters? Go explore! Have a good look around! Most of the stuff was on the old site but we know quite a few of you haven't looked at it all before, plus we have updated a quite a lot of it, as well as adding in a few new things! And while you're at it, if you spot anything that doesn't look quite right, has a broken link or if you just want to let us know what you think about the new site, just drop us a line by selecting "Website Feedback" in the email options on the contact form.

And that's all for today Hubsters! As always, stay tuned to www.thehubproductions.com (don't worry, we haven't changed that!), our Facebook group and our twitter for all the latest news and updates!

Cheers!

The Hub Team
