A (sad) Warehouse in Eureka update
Hi, Hubsters.
We have some good and bad news for you today.
On the bad side, A Warehouse in Eureka is going to be a smaller event than we'd hoped for. Within a very short period of time, Niall Matter, Neil Grayston and Tia Carrere have all had to pull out of the event. Both Niall and Neil are working and cannot get away, Niall on a new show, while Neil has been delayed in the filming of a movie, and Tia is now a contestant on the US Celebrity Apprentice (and doing so well she hasn't been fired yet and can't make it). As we're sure you understand our hearts sank when we got this news. Since we found out we've been scrambling to find replacement guests, but without luck. On the Eureka side, we've been in touch with the likes of Erica (Deputy Lupo) Cerra, Jordan (Zoe Carter) Hinson, Chris (Vincent) Gauthier and Kavan (Deputy Andy) Smith; on the Warehouse 13 side, the likes of Saul (Artie Nelson) Rubinek, Allison (Claudia Donovan) Scagliotti and Jaime (H. G. Wells) Murray. Unfortunately, no one has been able to make it at such short notice, which means that we're going to have a very intimate event this weekend.
On the good side, both Colin Ferguson and Eddie McClintock are in country and are definitely coming, so we'll still be getting the star power of Sheriff Jack Carter and Agent Pete Lattimer - and trust us, these two gentlemen are well worth the price of admission. Colin and Eddie both did their best to help us in the talent search, and they're both determined to show you all a wonderful time this weekend.
We also have a lesser, but still important, piece of news for the Melbourne attendees. Due to some venue scheduling issues, the University of Melbourne have asked us to relocate to a different theatre on Sunday. The new venue is the Charles Pearson Theatre in the Education Resource Building (or Education Resource Library). The new venue details will be updated on the venue page as soon as possible.
Obviously this is not not the news we wanted to be sharing, but having met both Colin and Eddie, we can assure you it'll still be a great weekend for Warehouse 13 and Eureka fans.
