Michael Shanks 2009

After Michael had to cancel his visit in October 2008, the Hub Productions team were thrilled when he accepted a film role in Tasmania and contacted the team for an event.  So,, in September 2009, we had one fantastic day with Michael Shanks in Melbourne.

The day started with many attendees getting a professional photo withthe very relaxed and chatty Michael. His hour long Q&A was full of varied questions about his time on Stargate SG-1, his guest roles on other shows like Andromeda and watching Australian TV (like Packed to the Rafters) while he was in Tasmania. Some humourous stories included bonding with Chris Judge during the audition days and having a really great time, regardless of whether he got the role. So when he got the job, he was definitely pleased that Chris got a role too.

Last on the scehdule was the autograph session. Michael was great with the attendees, taking the time to have a little talk with each of them. What a guy!
