Code of Conduct

An important part of enjoying The Hub Productions events is doing so in a pleasant, safe environment. To accomplish this, it is important that all attendees respect this code of conduct and report any violations of this code to event staff. Discussions and interaction with guests and other attendees are welcome, but it is a violation of the code of conduct to engage in harassment of event guests or attendees. Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

Comments about gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, age or religion that cause offence, intended or otherwise;

Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following;

Unwanted photography or recording by other attendees;

Inappropriate physical contact;

Unwelcome sexual attention;

Inappropriate cosplay;

Encouraging or advocating for any of the above behaviour.

If your behaviour violates our code of conduct, we retain the right to take any action required to maintain a welcoming environment for event participants, including giving you a warning, requiring you to leave the event immediately, or banning you from attending future events. If you are asked to stop behaviour which violates this code of conduct, you are expected to comply immediately.

If you or anyone else ever feels unwelcome or unsafe at The Hub Productions events, please inform event staff as soon as possible. If possible, your report will be kept private and will be received in a place where you won’t be overheard by other attendees. To ensure your report is handled well, other event staff may be involved. It is important that you report any such issue immediately while at the event, to enable event staff to take appropriate action to resolve the matter.
